New Book Deal: RELEASE THE WOLVES

I'm absolutely giddy and grateful and pleased and all those good things . . . to say that my next book, tentatively titled Release the Wolves, will be published in Fall 2022, again by Greenwillow/HarperCollins. In further news, my spooky gothic fairy tale Cinders and Sparrows is still going strong and is a finalist for the Vermont Golden Dome Award, previously known as the Dorothy Canfield Fisher Award, one of the oldest children's book awards in the country. Thank you so much to the committee for picking it! 

And: The Cabinet of Curiosities: 36 Tales Brief and Sinister was chosen by Book Riot to sit among a host of luminaries like Neil Gaiman (!), Haruki Murakami (!!), and Shirley Jackson (!!!), as one of the 53 best short stories and anthologies. Thank you, thank you to everyone involved.
